Application Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the application entry (“Application”) organised by Cucoon (“Organiser”) for the purpose of connecting compatible prospective home buyers.

Applicants must be aged 18+. The team will get back to you if they would like to proceed with your application. Closing date for applications is midnight on 31st October 2025.

1. Eligibility

1.1. Entry is open to individuals who are:

• Aged 18 or over;

• Residents of the United Kingdom

2. Competition Period

2.1. The Competition opens on submission and closes at midnight on 31st October 2025 (“Competition Period”).

3. How to Enter

3.1. To enter, applicants must submit their application via the online application form available at cucoon.co.uk during the application period.
3.2. Only one entry per person is permitted
3.3. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter this application.

4. Selection

4.1. All valid entries will be assessed based on compatibility with other applicants, including (but not limited to) factors such as location.
4.2. Successful entrants will be selected by the Organiser at its sole discretion.
4.3. The Organiser’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.4. Not all entrants will be matched. Being selected does not guarantee property purchase or ownership.

5. Notification of Nominees

5.1. Successful entrants (“Nominees”) will be notified by email no later than midnight on 6th November 2025.
5.2. If a Nominee does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the offer and select an alternative entrant.

6. Prizes and Responsibilities

6.1. The “Prize” is the opportunity to connect with other potential co-buyers through Cucoon® for the purpose of jointly exploring property ownership.
6.2. The Prize does not include financial contributions, mortgage approval or guarantees of property acquisition.
6.3. Nominees are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence and seeking independent financial and legal advice before entering into any agreement.
6.4. The Organiser accepts no liability for any agreements made between Nominees.

7. Withdrawal

7.1. Applicants may withdraw from the Application at any time by notifying the Organiser via the contact tab on cucoon.co.uk.

8. Data Protection

8.1. Personal data submitted as part of the Competition will be processed in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy, available at cucoon.co.uk.
8.2. By entering, you consent to your data being used for the purposes of administering the Application, assessing entries, and contacting Nominees.
8.3. By entering, you consent to receive marketing communications about the Cucoon cobuying platform. You may opt out of such communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or by notifying the Organiser via the contact tab on cucoon.co.uk.

9. Publicity

9.1. By entering the Competition, Nominees agree that the Organiser may use their name, approximate location (e.g., town or county), and likeness for publicity purposes (including announcements on cucoon.co.uk and associated social media channels) without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Changes and Cancellation

10.1. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition where necessary.
10.2. Any changes will be communicated to entrants by email.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
